KeymasterThat’s not good. I’ve found occasionally there is a firewall issue so maybe disable iptables and see if that lets you in.
Are you able to run
sh /script/sysinfo
from the command line and post the output to here?

Participant1st thing i did was try to disable iptables and if it had a fail2ban and was told no services exist for both.
i will try to re-install it later and issue the command and post it here

KeymasterOk, I’ve dug deeper. It looks like the control panel has to install the configuration files for named and it does this when the first domain is added. So named wont start until there is at least one website. I think this is a carry over from Kloxo-MR but I’ll have to check the code.
It isn’t really an acceptable solution so I’ll add it as a issue on github and see if we can install a basic configuration at install time so at least the service can start.
By the way, are you a regular kloxo user or is this your first attempt at installing?
Otherwise thanks for reporting the issue, I would really like to get the setup as clean as possible and there is a lot of little quirks that need to be ironed out.

KeymasterCool.
The aim is to fix the bugs in MR. However as we’ve have rebuilt all of the rpms from MR’s source files, I want to be sure we haven’t introduced any additional bugs and that users can migrate across from earlier versions. I think we’re close to that and I can start working on the growing list of faults found in the older version.

ParticipantIt is truly nice to see that Mustafa seems to have dropped off the face of the earth and someone is kind enough to grab and continue making it better.
Thanks John!

ParticipantI was able to just “service named start” to start the named service and then I was able to get the KloxoNG site to work.
I also did enabled ports 7777 and 7778 in firewall with these commands:
firewall-cmd –permanent –add-port=7777/tcp
firewall-cmd –permanent –add-port=7778/tcp
firewall-cmd –reload-
